Social Enterprise, Africa (SE Africa) is a regional network that brings together national networks of social entrepreneurs, as well as organisations that support social entrepreneurs. Its goal is to foster strong national ecosystems for social entrepreneurship. It provides an organized group for the sector to engage and develop strategic partnerships with investors, to increase access to growth capital.
SE Africa supports the setup of national networks in countries that do not already have one, as well as supporting existing networks. National networks work to develop their country’s social enterprise ecosystem by increasing funding, driving policy, intensifying learning and innovation and ensuring that there is adequate research and data on the sector.
SE Africa was launched in February 2016 following the launch of its Ghana affiliate SE Ghana in December 2015.
We would love to hear from you.
